Panasonic ToughPad Tablet First Impressions Review
Panasonic's ToughPad may not be groundbreaking, but it brings unprecedented durability to the table(t).
While the Panasonic ToughPad doesn't really bring anything groundbreaking to the table, the main innovation brought to the table with the ToughPad is its durability. The ability to survive drops, tumbles, getting stepped on and the occasional spray of water is fairly unique for a tablet, and worthy of praise.
However, because there doesn't seem to be any new innovations, Android fans who are looking for the latest and greatest tablet with the most features could potentially end up disappointed. The ToughPad doesn't have bad hardware per se, but it probably won't be able to keep up with the next round of tablets, especially now that some of them are starting to employ quad-core processors.
We simply can't know how well or poorly this tablet will fare in our lab tests, but rest assured we will publish all of our data at the earliest possible opportunity. Check back later in 2012 for our take on the Panasonic ToughPad when it hits the market!
